Illinois Statutory Definitions

Criminal Sexual Assault, 720 ILCS 5/11-1.20(a)

Someone commits unlawful intimate attack if that person commits a work of intimate penetration and: (1) utilizes force or risk of force; (2) understands that the target struggles to realize the type of this act or perhaps is not able to offer once you understand permission; (3) is a relative regarding the victim, in addition to target is under 18 years old; or (4) is 17 several years of age or higher and holds a posture of trust, authority, or guidance pertaining to the victim, together with target are at minimum 13 years old but under 18 years.

Sexual Penetration, 720 ILCS 5/11-0.1

“Sexual penetration” means any contact, but small, involving the intercourse organ or anus of just one individual as well as an item or the intercourse organ, lips, or anal area of some other individual, or any intrusion, but small, of any the main human body of just one individual or of every animal or item to the intercourse organ or anal area of some other individual, including, although not restricted to, cunnilingus, fellatio, or penetration that is anal.
